4 Tips To Shop The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2020
Let’s get this party started because the most anticipated sale of the year is HERE! Or at least to PREVIEW. This year, Nordstrom is running The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale a little differently (my guess is because of the Pandemic that is currently impacting all of our lives right now).
The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is known for featuring some of Nordstrom’s top selling products including: Vince Camuto boots, BlankNYC moto jackets, Patagonia gear, fall cardigans, and Nike tennis shoes. It’s the perfect time to stock up on fall staples because this sale isn’t just marked down product that didn’t sell over summer, but rather all new merchandise that hasn’t even hit the floors of competitive retailers yet! It truly is the prime time to go crazy on all of fall’s must haves for UNBEATABLE prices (I’m talking boots you can wear all season for 40% off)!!
So grab a drink babe and let’s chat #nsale. Below you will find key dates to remember, my best 4 tips to shop the Nordstrom Sale, and of course my top 10 sale picks.
Tip #1: Key Dates to Remember
Nordstrom is changing things up this year and giving everyone the ability to preview all sale items starting tomorrow, July 24th. This means you can save all of your favorites to your Wish List and check out faster when it’s time to shop. This preview experience will replace their print catalog this year.
Cardmembers with Icon, Ambassador or Influencer status will get even more time to shop Early Access. The higher your status, the earlier you shop. This is on top of the six days of Early Access all cardmembers get. So make sure to sign into your account and check your card status to determine which date you are able to checkout.
tip #2: add your sale favorites to your wish list
All the best items usually sell out quickly, so my best recommendation would be to preview the sale and add all of your favorite items to your Wish List for an easy checkout experience. As soon as you are able to checkout (according to your Card Holder status), do so ASAP! Also note, if you are a Nordstrom Card holder, you get rewarded every time you shop! #yaaasgirl
TIP #3: SHOP ONLINE
I’ve been notified by Nordstrom corporate that 75% of inventory will be ONLINE ONLY this year (due to Covid). This means a lot of the popular items won’t be available in store to try on. So if you love something, don’t wait to see if you can snag it in-store. I recommend grabbing it online (sometimes I get a couple sizes of something) and you can always return it if it doesn’t work out. Thank goodness for Nordstrom’s return policy!
