Shop Online And Save Time With Walmart+
Spring is upon us which means sports are back in full swing! Some of the best memories we’ve made is while hosting our family and friends for special events like baseball (big baseball fam over here). But, I’ll be honest, with the craziness of life lately, it’s been hard to find the time to even run to the grocery store.
Because of this, I’m partnering with Walmart to share their Walmart+ membership benefits, and how it has allowed me to shop online and save a TON of time!
I’ve chatted with you about this membership before, and I seriously could not recommend it more! No longer are the days where we need to run into Walmart to grab groceries or toilet paper. Now, we can get all of our fresh, high quality groceries and household supplies delivered straight to our doorstep as early as same-day for free at the same low prices as in store ($35 order minimum & restrictions may apply)!
Below, I’m detailing my favorite Walmart+ benefits, as well as a roundup of healthy snacks for a fun gathering with family and friends.
WHAT IS WALMART+?
With Walmart+, you can get your fresh, high quality groceries, toiletries, household items, home decor and even electronics delivered straight to your doorstep with free delivery from your local store on orders $35+ at the same low prices as in store (restrictions apply). OR, you can choose to order household essentials from Walmart.com and get them delivered with next-day or two-day shipping for FREE using Walmart+ free shipping (excludes most Maketplace items, location & freight surcharges)!
Over the holidays, I often used my membership to order random necessities like wrapping paper, cards and packing tape. Just last week, we we’re running out of dog food, so I placed a quick order and received it the following day! No matter how big or small the purchase, you’ll be able to have it delivered to your doorstep. It’s incredibly convenient and has allowed Albie and I to spend more quality time together.
CAN YOU PICK A DELIVERY WINDOW?
Walmart+ makes picking a delivery time super easy. After you sign into your account, it will automatically prompt you at checkout to pick a one-hour delivery window of your choice. When we needed something in a rush, I chose the soonest available (same day delivery). Or, sometimes I plan ahead and will have groceries delivered a few days later when I know we are going to start meal prepping for the following week.
Walmart also follows up with a text message and email when your order is about to be delivered. Seriously, so easy and convenient.
DOES EVERYTHING ARRIVE?
So far, everything has been delivered beautifully (fruit and veggies included) and I haven’t had any items cancelled. In some cases, Walmart may swap an item with a similar one if they are out of stock. However, you have the power to choose whether or not they swap for similar items. For example, I never have them swap out our laundry detergent because we like a specific fragrance free brand.
BUT, we have yet to have anything cancelled, and are truly LOVING this membership benefit! Best investment ever!
OTHER BENEFITS?
The Walmart+ membership also includes member prices on fuel. Members get up to 10 cents off every gallon at over 14,000 locations nationwide — now including Exxon & Mobil Stations (fuel discount varies by location & station, subject to change). In addition, members can also use the Walmart app on their personal mobile devices to shop and checkout in-store with mobile scan & go. This provides a contact free option and less time spent at the register whenever you visit a Walmart store.
