Introducing Walmart+ - The Most Convenient Way To Shop
So it’s no surprise that life looks a little different these days. Because of that, I’ve been on a mission to find ways to make my routine more efficient while also staying safe. Today, I’m so excited to partner with Walmart to share their new membership - Walmart+. This membership has been a total GAME CHANGER in our house! No longer are the days where we need to run into Walmart to grab groceries or a last minute gift. Now, we can get all of our household supplies delivered straight to our doorstep as early as same-day!
WHAT IS WALMART+?
With Walmart+, you can get your groceries, toiletries, household items, home decor and even electronics (hello gifting season) delivered straight to your doorstep with free, unlimited delivery.
I’ll be honest, I initially signed up for Walmart+ to save time. But WOW, we have been using it for so much more than that!! The other day we ran out of dog food for our pups, and within a couple hours, we had some delivered to our doorstep (along with mouthwash, deodorant and paper towels… all items we needed ASAP). It was incredibly convenient and allowed us to get some extra work done around the house
CAN YOU PICK A DELIVERY WINDOW?
Walmart+ makes picking a delivery time super easy. After you sign into your account, it will automatically prompt you at checkout to pick a one-hour delivery window of your choice. When we needed something in a rush, I chose the soonest available (same day delivery). Or, sometimes I plan ahead and will have groceries delivered a few days later when I know we are going to start meal prepping for the following week.
Walmart also follows up with a text message and email when your order is about to be delivered. Seriously, so easy and convenient.
DOES EVERYTHING ARRIVE?
So far, I haven’t had ANY issues with my orders being fulfilled. Everything has been delivered beautifully (fruit and veggies included) and I haven’t had any items cancelled. In some cases, Walmart may swap an item with a similar one if they are out of stock. However, you have the power to choose whether or not they swap for similar items. For example, I never have them swap out our laundry detergent because we like a specific fragrance free brand.
BUT, we have yet to have anything cancelled, and are truly LOVING this membership benefit! Best investment ever!
OTHER BENEFITS
The Walmart+ membership also includes member prices on fuel. Members save 5 cents per gallon at all Walmart and Murphy stations. In addition, members can also use their personal mobile devices to shop and checkout in-store with mobile scan & go. This provides a contact free option and less time spent at the register whenever you visit a Walmart store.
