Summer 2020 - 6 Trends To Try

Happy Summer 2020!! Gosh it’s really been the craziest first 6 months. If there’s one thing that can get me through it though, it’s talking all things fashion. So, let’s get right into it…
The trends this summer have really been all over the map! We’re seeing everything from 70s tie dye vibes, to feminine ruffle details, to all the loungewear your closet could ever need. I’ve linked some of my favorite products in every category for you to check out! Enjoy!!
Tie Dye
Tie dye definitely hit the retail scene with a BIG splash this summer! I keep telling myself I don’t need any more, but I can’t help it! I love all of the bright colors and fun tones. It’s super cute in the form of a romper, lounge set, maxi dress, or even bathing suit!
Matching Lounge Sets
Matching sets is definitely a trend I can get behind ANY DAY! They are great to wear around the house, and totally appropriate to rock while running errands too. Seriously, there was never a set that I regretted buying. SO comfy!
Biker Shorts
I’ll be honest, I wasn’t crazy about biker shorts when they first hit the market. But, they definitely grew on me! I’m a huge fan of wearing these with a cropped pullover or oversized graphic tee.
Ruffle Details
Hello feminine! This might be one of my favorite trends this summer! Seriously though… give me all the ruffles!! I’m a huge fan of them on mini dresses! You can dress up any ruffle mini with wedges or down with sneakers and a denim jacket.
Paperbag Waist Denim Shorts
Let’s be honest, denim shorts are not comfortable. Let me introduce you to paperbag waist denim shorts!! They kind of have a boyfriend fit to them (loose fitting) and look great with a bodysuit. AND they are incredibly comfortable! They are super chic, and so flattering on all different body types.
Graphic Tees
Whether you love all the girly thaaangs or prefer a more ‘cool girl’ vibe, graphic tees are a must! I love them paired with biker shorts, or dress them up with a midi skirt. They really elevate any basic outfit! Linked a few favs above!
