5 Tips To Shop The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale + Sneak Peeks
Grab your gal pals because the most anticipated sale of the year starts this Friday - The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2019!
This sale is known for featuring some of Nordstrom’s top selling products including: Under $50 Staple Sweaters, Vince Camuto Boots/Booties, Blank NYC Moto Jackets, Madewell Cardigans, and Nike Tennis Shoes. It is the perfect time to stock up on fall staples because this sale isn’t marked down product that didn’t sell over summer, but rather all new merchandise that hasn’t even hit the floors of competitive retailers yet! It truly is the prime time to go crazy on all of fall’s must haves for UNBEATABLE prices (I’m talking boots you can wear all season for 40% off)!!
I have put together my top 5 tips to shop the #nsale to help you fully maximize your shopping experience!
1. KEY DATES TO BOOKMARK
July 11th:Early Access Begins For Icon & Ambassador Card Holders
July 12th: Early Access Begins For All Card Holders
July 19th: Last Day of Early Access
July 20th: Public Access Begins
**Sale Ends August 5th**
2. START EARLY
All the best items usually sell out within the first few days, so my best recommendation would be to make sure you shop to the “Early Access Sale!” You can do so by signing up to be a Nordstrom Card Holder. If you aren’t able to apply for a card until the day of the sale, do not worry! Nordstrom does not require buyers to have a card “in-hand” to gain early access to the sale. Also note, if you are a Nordstrom Rewards Member, you get rewarded every time you shop! #yaaasgirl
3. MAKE A LIST & HAVE A BUDGET
The BIGGEST piece of advice I can give is: STALK the 2019 Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Catalogue! You can view the full catalogue here. I love the electronic catalogue this year because you can click any item on any of the models and it will pop up with the name of the item, colors it comes in, and sale price. Please, please, please note that items in the catalogue usually go first. So if you’re in love with something, make sure to snag it early!Make a list of ALL of the pieces you love, and have it handy. Then, after you have made a budget, narrow the items you love down to fit your budget. But keep in mind, you can always return items, so don’t be afraid to go over budget a little bit because once an item is gone, that’s usually it! Very rarely do bestsellers get restocked.
4. SHOP ONLINE (and pick up in-store)
The best way (and my personal favorite) to shop the Anniversary Sale is online because it allows you to easily navigate all of the sale items and categories. Plus, let’s be honest, I would soooo rather shop behind a computer in my pajamas! Additionally, Nordstrom’s online shipping and return policy is like none other! They offer both free shipping and returns on every order! So you really have nothing to lose.But, in case you like to try things on, remember that Nordstrom now offers the shop online & pick up at your local store option! Shop everything you love the minute the sale goes live, and then pick up at your local store THAT SAME DAY (already bagged and ready to go for you). And remember, Nordstrom does not charge you until your items have been picked up!
